Superintendent/Principal's Welcome

Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the Superintendent/Principal of the Latrobe School District. From the moment I began learning about this remarkable district, I was drawn to its strong sense of community, its commitment to academic excellence, and the genuine care shown to every student. I am excited to partner with our outstanding staff, supportive families, dedicated Board of Trustees, and the greater Latrobe community as we continue building upon that tradition of excellence.

I have spent more than two decades serving students, families, and educators in a variety of leadership roles throughout public education. Throughout my career, one belief has remained constant: every decision we make should be centered on what is best for students. Whether it involves instruction, facilities, finances, or future planning, our students will always remain at the heart of the work we do.

I believe that great schools are built through strong relationships. When students feel safe, valued, and connected, they are able to thrive both academically and personally. When teachers and staff are supported, respected, and empowered, amazing things happen in classrooms every day. And when families and the community work alongside our schools, everyone benefits.

As your Superintendent/Principal, I am committed to being visible, approachable, and engaged. I value open communication, transparency, collaboration, and listening. I know that the best ideas often come from working together, and I look forward to learning from the many people who make Latrobe such a special place.

On a personal note, education has always been more than a career—it is a passion. I have been fortunate to spend my professional life working with students, supporting teachers, and helping schools grow. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, serving my community, and finding creative ways to celebrate the accomplishments of students and staff. Those experiences continually remind me why our work matters and why every child deserves opportunities to learn, grow, and succeed.

The Latrobe School District has a proud history and an exciting future. Together, we will continue creating schools where students are challenged to reach their highest potential, staff members are supported and inspired, families are welcomed as partners, and our community remains proud of its schools.
