Dear Staff, Families, and Community Members,
On behalf of the Latrobe School District Board of Trustees, we are excited to announce the appointment of Doug Shupe as our new Superintendent/Principal, effective July 20, 2026.
Mr. Shupe comes to us from Camerado Springs Middle School in the Buckeye Union School District, where he successfully served as Principal for the past ten years and previously as Assistant Principal for five years. He has other prior administrative experience at Herbert Green Middle School, Buckeye Elementary School, and Silva Valley Elementary School. Mr. Shupe started his educational career at the K-8 Franklin Elementary School in the Loomis Union School District where he served as a classroom teacher for seven years.
